Wuhan Cultural and Creative Industry Summit Forum

  The Wuhan Cultural and Creative Industry Summit Forum with the theme of "Innovation, Creativity and Creation" was launched on July 20, 2012. During the time, the experts and scholars from Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan gathered together to discuss the development of Wuhan Cultural and Creative Industry.

  Zhu Tao, Sub-inspector of the Reform and Development Office of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC introduced the data on national cultural industry development since 2011 and said that the growth rate of added value of cultural industry in most areas was more than 20%, and he predicted that there would be a larger increase in 2012.

  Jin Yuanpu, the Executive Director of Cultural Industry Research Center of Renmin University of China put forward the concept of "updating and upgrading" for cultural and creative industry through the analysis of cultural and creative cases.

  Mei Song, the Director of Beijing Cultural Industry Promotion Center, Zhang Xiaoming, the Executive Deputy Director of Cultural Industry Research Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Qi Xiaofeng, the Director of Academic Committee of Institute for Cultural Industries of Communication University of China, He Shouchang, the Director of the Leading Group Office for Promotion of Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry as well as other experts and scholars made wonderful speeches in the forum and stressed the importance and urgency of cultivating talents in the cultural and creative industry invariably.

  The forum is jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and Wuhan Cultural and Creative Industry Association.
