Chutian 181 Cultural ad Creative Industry Park is located at No. 181, Donghu Road, and is built by Hubei Daily Media Group. It is the first characteristic cultural and creative industry park in China that takes modern media as the subject, and will become the new highland of Chinese cultural and creative industry development.

　　The park location is the old printing house of Hubei Daily Media Group. After reconstruction, thick brick walls of the old workshop are remained, with a tall space and criss-cross pipes. The most impressive is red newspaper cones that were used for delivering newspapers and show the design style of the park. At the gate of the park, there are two huge sculptures Newspaper Flying which are 12 meter high. A flying image is formed through openwork carving and interpenetration of cambered curves, and the flying figure waves wings using one hand and holds up newspapers using the other hand, showing the spirit of modern media professionals who are responsible, active, and innovative.

　　181 in the park name is not only from the house number, and also of deeper symbolic significance. Two 1s represent culture and industry, and 8 symbolizes infinity. The park will combine culture and industry through creative operation, and create infinite social and economic benefits.

　　At present, the first-phase project of the park has been completed, and the available area is about 50,000 square meters. More than 40 enterprises have entered the park, including CCTV Central China Emergency Producing and Broadcasting Platform, Hubei Reporter Station of China Daily, Hubei Station of Global Times, Tencent Dachu Website, Meijia Shopping, and art design, cultural performance and commercial supporting enterprises. The second-phase project of the park will build inner-court creative markets, creative buildings, and underground parking lots of 21,000 square meters. Now the second-phase project is open to attract investment. In the third-phase project, Huangli Road will be built into a cultural street together with Wuchang District.

　　After the third-phase project of 181 Creative Park is completed, the park will become a mature park with reasonable layout, complete functions, and all-around supporting facilities. Through a series of cultural activities, the park will build a comprehensive platform integrating creative product design, exhibition, and trade, in order to facilitate the joint development of enterprises and park, and create and improve the brand influence of 181 Creative Park.
