Jiangcheng First Cultural and Creative Park

  Jiangcheng First Cultural and Creative Park is located at No. 47, Gutian Fourth Road, Qiaokou District, Wuhan City. The park connects to Nanniwan Avenue to the north, Xiaojia Second Road to the south, Gutian Fourth Road to the east, and the planned Xiaojia First Road t the west. The project covers an area of more than 100 mu, the building area is about 71,000 square meters, and the usable area is about 66,300 square meters. The project consists of 28 old workshops, and the plot ratio is 0.9. At present, the park is a garden-style fashion cultural and creative industrial park with the maximum volume in Wuhan. The project location is former Wuhan Light-duty Vehicle Factory, which was purchased and stored by Wuhan Municipal Land Reservation Center and managed by Qiaokou District. The district government formally signed a lease operating agreement of 15 years plus 10 years with the operating unit.

  Guided and supported by Qiaokou District People’s Government, Shanghai Raw Materials Development Company (a state-owned enterprise subordinate to the Cooperation and Exchange Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government) and Shanghai Sunpower Huakang Culture and Creativity Stock Co., Ltd. jointly build Wuhan Sunpower Fukang Culture and Creativity Development Co., Ltd. for investment, construction, and operation management. The total investment of Jiangcheng First is the largest among similar projects and reaches CNY 155 million, and the registered capital of project company is CNY 25 million.

  Jiangcheng First Cultural and Creative Park will achieve the target of building a true cultural and creative park through fourfold cultural value presentation and with the innovative cultural operation mode.

  Jiangcheng First takes culture as the soul, creativity as the core, park as the carrier, and innovation as the operation mode to provide four cultural functions. Cultural and creative office and exhibition function: The project will cover an area of about 10,000 square meters. Creative design enterprises, cultural exchange and exhibition organizations, and cultural and creative talent training centers will be introduced. A new-generation creative incubation base will be built based on the open creative office mode and the creative environment of “shop front and workshop rear” combining design and exhibition, and creative enterprises will be connected to the fashion market. Historical culture inheritance and new fashion publishing function: Intangible cultural heritage inheritor studios in Qiaokou District and Wuhan will be taken as the focus. An intangible cultural heritage exhibition and experience area (3,000 square meters of indoor area and 3,000 square meters of public area) will be specially established for on-site fabrication, in order to provide cultural experience through electronic exhibition, performance, and interaction, strengthen domestic and international intangible cultural activity exchange, and spread historical and cultural values. A special area will be provided (5,000 square meters) to promote the fashion industry that combines handwork and arts (pottery and hand-made clothing), and provide a platform for the development of intangible cultural heritage. Culture and entertainment function: 4D cinemas (Pony Dash), modern book bars, music bars, KTV, international cocktail lounges, art galleries, animation games, and art training will be introduced to form a mainstream cultural consumption industry of about 20,000 square meters, and a cultural industry demonstration area that integrates cultural exchange and trade, experiencing and enjoying will be built. Recreational experience and supporting service function: A food street of about 10,000 square meters and a street-side brand zone of 5,000 square meters will be specially built in the park, providing international famous casual brands and characteristic theme catering. In addition, they will provide perfect supporting service facilities for creative enterprises, such as fitness and health maintenance clubs and culture clubs. All cultural function zones will provide the park with cultural vitality with various cultural activities and through integration and interaction of full-frame cultural scene and overall brand promotion.

  According to the plan, more than 200 cultural and creative, fashionable and casual enterprises will be introduced, and the total investment will exceed CNY 500 million. The project will cultivate a group of cultural and creative enterprises, build the brand of overall cultural and creative brand, achieve registration of 80% of projects, provide 1,500 employment opportunities, and create annual earnings of more than CNY 500 million. The overall objective is to build a new landmark of cultural and creative experience, recreation and entertainment, and metropolis tourism, build a new platform for the development of cultural industry, and create a new name card of urban cultural image.
