Luo Fanxi, born after 1985, a female designer from Wuhan

According to the news (Reporter Gong Ping with Wuhan Evening News) on cjn.cn, at pier59 studios stadium in New York at 7:30pm, September 10th of 2017 (local time), Luo Fanxi, a girl born after 1985 from Wuhan, will make her debut during New York Fashion Week on the same stage with Cai Meiyue, the well-known wedding dress designer. This is Luo Fanxi's first show overseas. She is the first wedding dress designer from Wuhan who will appear on the New York Fashion Week stage.

Fishtail design, the upper part of the dress is inlaid with hand-made diamonds and sequins, upscale yarn lining, the bottom is made of pieces of white feathers that creates a feeling of lightness when moving... On August 31st before Luo Fanxi left for New York, the reporter came to her new studio, seeing the wedding dresses she newly designed and would take to New York for the fashion week.

"We have prepared 30 dresses, of which 25 are for the show; these are wedding dresses, promoting the idea of 'light wedding, light fashion'", "the last wedding dress is inlaid with 15,000 real zircons; when it appears on the stage, it will create an unforgettable dreamlike effect." Luo Fanxi told the reporter.

Many people wonder why Luo Fanxi is so lucky that she can compete with Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, and other internationally recognized designers on the same stage - New York Fashion Week, the first of the big four fashion weeks worldwide. The answer lies in the "butterfly effect" produced by a big show during Wuhan Fashion Week last year.

Last year, Luo Fanxi was invited to put up a big show during Wuhan Fashion Week. The show displays a wide variety of beautiful wedding dresses, especially the last one, which is a "noctilucent butterfly" wedding dress. This dress glitters on the dark stage, just like a dream. Before long, the fashion show has received wide attention from fashion communities both at home and abroad. Foreign designers encourage Luo to apply for CFDA to participate in New York Fashion Week.

Luo Fanxi tentatively submitted her application to the CFDA at the end of last year. Having waited for the six months of review and evaluation, she received the invitation to participate in New York Fashion Week in June this year.

After graduating from ESMOD Bejing in 2009, Luo Fanxi started her garment customization career in Wuhan. Starting business is tough. At the most difficult time, Luo had only 2,000 yuan in her bank card. A diamond dress worn by Li Yingzhi at the Beijing auto show in 2012 not only makes her a focus of attention at the show, but also makes Luo Fanxi, the designer of the dress, well known. After that, people from around the world try to contact Luo and purchase the dresses designed by her. Luo Fanxi finally has a studio of her dream in the Red T fashion industrial park.
