Cooperation Agreement among Urban Agglomerations in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River and Changsha, Hefei, Nanchang and Wuhan Catering Industry Associations

  In April 2013, catering industry associations of four provincial capital cities from the middle reaches of the Yangtze River including Changsha, Hefei, Nanchang and Wuhan signed a cooperation agreement in Wuhan for the establishment of catering alliance among urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. In the future, catering industry from the four cities will strengthen exchanges and cooperation for the joint development of four-city catering market, promoting industry transformation and upgrading.

  Under the agreement, catering associations from the four cities will take turns to lead large-scale foreign investment cooperation docking promotion and strengthen information sharing in investment projects, policy environment and risk factors, supporting cross-city chain operations and providing preferential policies and facilities for the other catering enterprises to set up local shops and cooperate.

  The catering associations from the four cities will also organize exchanges among special food streets, time-honored brand corporations and branded restaurants and stores; strengthen raw materials procurement cooperation among the catering enterprises from the four cities, and support professional production base of raw materials to establish cross-city marketing network; arrange technical training and exchanges, and enrich catering market multilaterally; hold yearly four-city cooking contest and catering development summit forum, etc..
The catering industry cooperation among four cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River will help the four-city catering industry to jointly cope with the current challenges, and seize the opportunity to achieve safe and sound development.
