Wuhan Business University and Oita City Put Forward the Cooking Education and Exchange Program

  Since the 1990s, Ford College in Oita City has established the friendly cooperation relationship with Wuhan Business University, and great achievements have been made through over 20 years of cooperation. The two colleges have visited each other 13 times, and carried out exchange and communication in cooking and hotel management. Every year, teachers and students carry out one-on-one communication, professional exchange and skill showing activities. Relying on this stable exchange platform, a number of Chinese cooking masters from Culinary College of Wuhan Business University, including Liu Nianqing, Lu Yongchao, Wang Huiya, and Yan Tao, have ever gone to Oita City to promote Chinese and Hubei culinary culture as well as the professional advantages of the university. Chinese food fairs in Japan are reported by local media and are popular with local people. The long-term steady friendly relationship between two universities sets an example for cultural and educational exchange between China and Japan, and also enriches the content of cooperation between international sister cities. In 2017, Ford College approaches its eightieth anniversary, and Wuhan Business University plans to visit this college again for professional exchange and showing Chinese culinary skills.
