Hearing and language barriers,
Like a thick wall that cannot be traversed, blocking their way of communicating with the colorful world.
There are still a lot of deaf-mute children out of our view.
They are starved for help,
They longing to grow like other healthy children.

For this purpose, on August 29, 2017 (this Tuesday), Wuhan Ruopu Art Space (NGO), a public welfare organization which focus on education and promoting contemporary art and culture of teenagers,united with Wuhan Urban and Rural Construction Committee, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Wuhan Children's Library, go into the Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College Huazhong University of Science and Technology, tohold2017 Wuhan International Teenagers Creative Month in Tongji Hospital. Ruopu Art Space specifically invited Chinese and foreign artistswith the creative design conceptMyDesign HelpsYou to enlightensick children to think about their relationship with the society, environmentand other people. Children's talent for inspiration were showed through interaction. Ruopu Art Space, along with medical experts, appeal the public pay attention to the present situation of hearing-impairment children and their treatment in China.

This time Ruopu Art Space combined with Otolaryngology&Head and Neck Surgery experts of Tongji Hospital, communicate with aphonia children in creative ways. They teach parents how to help children wearing hearing-aid and cochlea implant, and how to restore the language to Wake Ears and other processes. They also provide supports and assistance to hearing-impaired children and their families from various aspects such as policy consultation, help sick children return to the sound world at an early date.

Mr. Xiang Yang, the founder of Wuhan Ruopu Art Space(NGO) as well as the Chief Curator of 2017 Wuhan International Teenagers Creative Month said, Ruopu Art Space had petitioned to municipal government to set each June as Wuhan International Teenagers Creative Month, and their original intention is, through art and creative ways to enrich culture life of teenagers and kids, secondly to guarantee,maintenance and meet the needs of teenagers and kids participated in society practices, culture and art activities, including special group of adolescents and children, and foreign youngsters lived in Wuhan.

At present, there are still many people do not understand this special group, although attention to the special children is on the rise. They need social attention and support. We hoped that, after the activity, children will be able to help others with their own creative designs, and understanding their relationships with adults, other people and our society much better. Finally we can take their creative design works to exhibit in the United States and Japan, let more people walk into their inner worlds through their artworks and understand these special groups, "Let love wake ears, let art help growth!"

In addition, Wuhan children's library will bring a cross media E-book reading:The FantasticFlying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore tostudents in Tongji Children school for Future. It is an interactive E-book which integratesbook, movie and VR virtual reality in a body. It will bring a new spiritual experience for children.
