Final of "Changhe-Jinqiu Cup" entrepreneurial project of Wuhan Bioengineering Institute (WBI) was held in auditorium of WBI on September 24, 2015. After grouping PK and ultimate showdown of 15 teams in the final, the team led by Wang Xianglan from department of chemical and environmental engineering won the grand prize of "Changhe-Jinqiu Cup" with the project Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration Membrane Core Production Technology for Water Treatment.
It is reported that Wuhan Bioengineering Institute formally started the activity "I offer a plan for college students' entrepreneurial project" in Middle July. 15 projects which enter into the final are selected from 548 entrepreneurial projects upon four rounds of evaluation and selection which lasts for nearly two months.

　　The biggest difference between it and the previous college students entrepreneurial events is: Each team that participates in the competition must have a member who is teacher. According to professor Dong Yanling who is Associate Dean of Department of Entrepreneurship and Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of WBI, the main purpose of doing so is to let teachers also take part in the innovation and entrepreneurship activities and jointly solve the problems occurring in entrepreneurship, deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship reform and promote mutual learning and common progress among teachers and students. It is understood that projects of this competition cover biotechnology, medicine, health care, landscaping, finance, environment protection, tourism, indoor decoration, Internet + and cultural industry and so on.

　　According to Professor Li Youqing who is director of the evaluation committee of this competition, president of WBI and dean of department of entrepreneurship, WBI will organize two entrepreneurship competitions which are "Changhe-Yangchun Cup" and "Changhe-Jinqiu Cup" in March and September respectively upon it was successfully approved as one of the first batch of "innovation and entrepreneurship base of national universities for practice education" this year. WBI currently has built two major innovation and entrepreneurship education parks which occupy an area of 30,000m2, "Chenguang Entrepreneurship Park" and "Zhumeng Creator Park", and will elaborately create a batch of influential innovation and entrepreneurship education brands.
