"Integration: The International Art Exhibition for People with Disabilities" (Biennial)

  "Integration: The First International Art Exhibition for People with Disabilities" was held in Wuhan on October 20th of 2015. Sponsored jointly by the China Disabled Persons' Magazines, Wuhan Disabled Persons' Federation, Korea Disabled Artists' Association, and Japan Association of Charitable Organizations, this exhibition is an academically art that focuses on the creation of visual arts by disabled persons. "Integration: The International Art Exhibition for People with Disabilities" will be held in other places of the world once every two years.

  This exhibition received a total of 100 pieces of works from 11 countries and regions, such as Korea, Japan and the United States. Of the 100 pieces, 70 were created by disabled artists and 30 were created by abled artists. These works demonstrate the equality and harmony between traditions and modernity, east and west, and disabled and abled people.

  After the International Expert Review Board evaluated the works, the 30 pieces of works created by disabled artists won the "Best Creation" award. Four disabled artists from Wuhan, namely, Xu Dong, Li Zongshuang, Yu Hong, and Sun Tao, won the award. Wuhan Disabled Persons' Federation was granted the "Outstanding Contribution Award".
